Welcome to our website.  We are a non-profit organization located in the Metropolitan Atlanta area that is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of Haitian and Haitian American communities throughout the world.  During 2010 and 2011, we concentrated on providing shoes to those in need in Haiti.  With your support, we were able to ship more than 20,000 pairs of shoes to Haiti for distribution.  We dedicated thousands of man hours and dollars to this endeavor.  Our desire was to deliver millions of shoes.  However, due to current infrastructure and political instabilities in Haiti, we have ceased our shoe drive.  We want to thank all of you who donated shoes and supported us during this effort.  Although we fell short of our goal, HUP is grateful and hopeful that future endeavors will be a huge success.

We have now changed our direction.  We are determined to help make this world a better place to live and have a strong desire to start in Haiti.  One of the things that are most needed in Haiti is clean drinking water.  Currently, only the wealthy citizens of Haiti have access to clean-filtered drinking water.  Access to clean drinking water has been a problem in Haiti for many years.  This problem has produced many negative health issues for the poor people of Haiti.  After much thought and prayer, we are proud to announce that HUP is able to provide fresh drinking/cooking water to the people of Haiti.  We have created a partnership with a reputable company in Haiti to accomplish this task.  This partnership will make it possible for HUP to provide clean drinking water to an unlimited number of Haitian citizens at a drastically reduced price.  PLEASE CONSIDER HELPING US HELP OTHERS.  With your help, HUP will make a difference.         

Our long-term goal is to establish administrative business schools in Haitian neighborhoods here in the U.S. and Haiti.  These schools will be accessible to Haitians that live outside of the Metropolitan Port Au Prince area.  This too has been a problem for many years.  A lot of people are forced to travel long distances to Port Au Prince to attend business training schools.  If schools were affordable and available in other outlying areas, more Haitians would have access to this luxury.  Here at HUP Helping Haiti, we believe that we can best help Haiti by empowering them to help themselves.  Education is the #1 way to help yourself achieve success and results.  Our goal is to establish schools in the United States first.  These schools will be open and available to all those in need – not just Haitians.  After successfully establishing schools in the U.S., we are then confident that we will be able to start planting schools inside of Haiti.  Please call (770) 319-9181 for details.
